President Arthur had also shown great honesty and integrity to prove himself worthy to Americans.
He was diagnosed with a fatal kidney disease during his presidency. President Arthur was determined to keep his health a secret. He bravely pushed through all his troubles to meet the needs of America. Arthur was a leader for being able to raise the respect he deserved as president, showing great honesty and integrity, and leading the nation as America's twenty-first President.
